Do You Like To Cook?

Do you like to cook? I used to like to cook.But I got out of that habit, my kids are grown now.I live by myself.I was used to cooking for more people. It seems it is cheaper to grab a burger alot of times than to cook for one person. I don't cook much any more.I do not enjoy cooking just for me.

I too used to cook enough for an army. When I do cook, I too freeze some too.

Strangely, I enjoy cooking more now than I did when I had kids at home. There's just me and I don't mind eating the same thing several meals in a row, so I don't have to cook much, but I can make whatever I have a hankering for and not have to worry that someone won't like it. That said, I'm not crazy about cooking - just the results of cooking. I don't care for hamburgers or other fast food very much and only eat it on rare occasion.

Well, I do not mind eating the same thing several days in a row either, so when I do cook that is what I do. I wish I was like you.

I sure do, I love cooking and serving the family. It's my little way of letting them know how much I care for them, I just hope that I did the best thing for them to live healthy and be nourished.
But maybe someday, I could end up in your situation as well. Still, I would like to enjoy the best part of cooking and that is to cook for the whole family!

i like to cook. i took home ec in school and just fell in love with cooking. i took it every year in highschool. my kids are young and they show some interest in cooking too. they aren't really old enough to help me much yet, but when they get older it will be fun to cook together. i'll admit, its not quite as fun now that i have to cook every night for our family, but i still like it.

Well that iss good that you took home ec.It is always fun to cook when you have young cgildren at home to cook for.Glad your kids are showing an interest in cooking as well.
