I want to know which anti virus program would you recommend. I have Norton before but when it expired, I shifted to bitdefender. My problem is it made my laptop slow..Your recommendations will be much appreciated...

We use symantec here in the office. I don't really know if this is really safe, though so far I didnt encounter any virus problem with my computer. I hope you'll get the best anti virus for your laptop.

i've been using AVG Free Antivirus for our computers here in the office. I had no problems with AVG. If you want to try, here's the link http://free.grisoft.com/

I recently changed from Norton Internet Security 2008 to Kaspersky Internet Security 7. I find it much less of a resource hog than Norton - I can still use the computer with the scan running - and it's found a lot of stuff that Norton didn't.
