The Snoring Problem

I've been told I snore. My husband says it doesn't bother him that much. Myself, I hate snoring sounds! It drives me around the bend, even the slighterst snoring. If hubby snores I have to get up and leave the room, sleep on the couch. I'm one of these light sleepers that needs total silence to sleep. What about you?

I have not been told that i snore. I dont think you must worry much as your hubby has no problem with it. Snoaring is due to some problem in you palate. So get a doctor's opinion once...

I know why I snore, I have one nostril larger than the other and the smaller one is tight and hard to breath from. I can't afford to see a doctor but was thinking of getting those strips. Thanks for the advice.

I snore and often wake myself up. I also can't tolerate snoring by someone else (husband ) when I'm sleeping. I always hope I get to sleep first, but now I swear he starts snoring when he's still half awake. I'm on the couch a lot of nights - I need darkness and silence to get to sleep. I know other people have said be so glad you can hear the snoring and he's still there with you, doesn't matter, not a bit, can't stand the snoring.

I looked these up and found a UK website that I think will ship to the US. I couldn't tell much from the pictures on the site, are these really all that different than the nose strips he gets. They help somewhat, but not enough.

I know that I snore too but not very loud or often. I used to have to sleep on the couch also if my husband snored. He used to snore so loud that I just could not block it out to go to sleep. He doesn't snore much anymore though. I need silence to go to sleep too and the slightest sound wakes me up.

Wow, good for you....I wish I was like that. My dog pants at night and sometimes my husband snores and on Monday and Thursday the garbage collectors come at 6:30 a.m. and wake me up, so I rarely get any sleep!

Sometimes I snore especially when I am really tired. I don't like it either. My boyfriend snores a lot and it really doesn't bother me but the doctor said the reason of his snoring is that he was having a hardtime breathing because of sinusitis.
