Small Space, Need Storage for lots of things!

I will be moving into an even smaller place this summer, hopefully a 2x2 apt, but my problem is space to accomodate things. i have 2 GD's and toys and things for them and my self and my husband. So, what is your favorite "storage" device? What have you done to put alot of things into a small place? How have you used what little storage space you have? Any suggestiongs on items that you have found to be the best storage devices?

Will do.
I am also looking for a convenient but space saving way to store DVD's. I have some box sets as well as singles and would like to put them (now they are under the bed in totes, but not very good space saving as they don't all fit in evenly) but something to hang no the wall so save on floor space, but still look nice and be accessible.

I just use stackable plastic bins. . I put a lot of stuff in those, and then i stack them in the closet. I also tend not to keep anything that i dotn think i'll use again, or things that are just going to collect dust.
The kids toys IS a problem. there are a lot of big toys. . I clean out the toy box once in a while and either pack it away till the new baby is big enough to play with it, or i donate it to a worthy cause! Or i freecycle it. lol i do a big clean up job once ever few months to keep down the clutter. ;)

Good for you on your de-cluttering! I have slimmed down quite a bit from things i have and have not used or know I won't use them again.

I bought a little condo storage "garage" type thing down the road a piece and that is where my slant board and moon boots live--you know the exercise equipment you hand upside down from? I love that thing but do not have room for it where we now live. Bummer. At least a bought a new portable mini-trampoline for our summer place. Now if only I could drag myself off myLot and finish the rest of the cleaning and packing. See you again in May!
