I haven't read the book but did see the movie. In my religion, we feel very strongly that Christ is the Savior of Mankind. We are also taught that the family is central to Heavenly Father's plan for us. Christ came to be an example in all things. Just as in the story of his baptism in which he said that he needed to "fulfill all righteousness," I wouldn't have any problem with the fact that he married and fathered a child, just as we are commanded to do. God gave Adam and Eve the commandment to multiply and replenish the earth. In our children and families is found our greatest joys and our most perfect lessons about love. This is how we understand how our Heavenly Father loves us. Though I don't believe that anyone really knows anymore, let alone Da Vinci, it doesn't change my belief in Christ's divinity. Maybe it even strengthens it.
