Do you like to spoil yourself or others?

I like to shop as much as the next girl but I find lately that I prefer to buy things for my hubby to make him happy. I don't know why because I really do like to spoil myself but I seem to get more joy from finding the perfect gift to make him smile. How about you do you prefer to give gifts or buy them for yourself?

More often then not Whywiki it is for my family that I buy and shop for. The grand babies are always needing something as is my husband and 13 year old. I am kind to myself however... I just ordered from beauty boutique and I can not tell you the last time I bought a bottle of perfume or cosmetics, so it was a very nice treat for me.

It seems really decadent to spoil myself with a new perfume so when I do do it it makes me really happy. I think we deserve to be spoiled on occasion but it is fun to surprise others too isn't it.

My hubby is like that too, I should get something for myself blah blah blah but it isn't the same thrill for me and probably you.

Babies are meant to spoil I think, at least that's what grandparents always seem to say.

I love buying gifts for people going shopping and choosing something perfect, my eldest daughter is 4 and she is the same aswell she loves helping choose gifts and wrapping them and giving them to the person it always has her smiling. But we like getting them too!!

I think it is great fun to choose the perfect gift then spend time wrapping it with love. It is great your daughter likes this too.

I love to spoil my kids and surprise them with little treasures. It don't cost much to add a smile to a kids face.Bubbles or little candy...I love doing these things for my children and even my nephew when he is at my house.

I think kids love to get little gifts like this. I was talking just yesterday to the neighbours kid who had just received some smelly bubbles as a gift and she was having so much fun.

I love to spoil myself but most of the time, I love buying things for my siblings and boyfriend especially to my mom. It is priceless when you see them say "thank you" and smile then look at the things that you bought them.. They appreciate it so much.

Hello whywiki, I experience the same too. I loved to splurge for myself and after getting married, I prefer to buy things for my husband. I always put him and my son as my priority whenever I wish to buy something. That's bad for me... I don't buy new stuff for myself almost a year by now...

Both.. There are times I am on the mood to pamper myself that I shop things thats cost higher than my usual budget. There are also times that I make some surprises for my boyfriend. I go to mall and look for something that can make him happy. The last time I bought him a new cellphone. He was so surprised when I sent him a package and found out that the content was cellphone. Unluckily he lost it, a month ago. You cant imagine how sad and worried he was when he called me and told the bad news. He was worried that I might get angry. Its just a thing that is replaceable.
