In my case, i was so lean until i got married, but after the birth of my daughter, i dont how on earth i became quite fat..but on the otherhand, my husband who was so very thin than me is still thin inspite of trying so many things like, exercise, food, etc...so, i think gaining weight is so difficult than losing

For me, I find it easier in gaining weight than losing weight. I got fat in just 4 months very very fat but it is so hard to reduce. hehe

Gaining is always harder than loosing. When I had my son I was skinny before and after. Then when he was about 4, I was 24 and somehow my body decided I needed hips. Ever since I haven't been really skinny.

For me it has always been easier to lose weight but now that I am 7 months pregnant, I am putting tons of weight on. I have been at both ends of the spectrum. I prefer to lose weight fast but that will not be the case for me for a while.

Nothing is easy to gain or loose fat.It depends of your health condition ,your diet and your exercise.

For me, both arejust as difficult. I've struggles with eating disorders through high school and I just couldn't get myself to put weight on. When my grandma passed away a year ago, I put on almost 40 lbs. Right now I'm about half way back to my normal, healthy weight.

So much depends on the variables, your basic body type, metabolism, age, your general health and your habits. For someone who has a lean physique and is relatively young with a fast metabolism, it will probably be much harder for them to gain weight and keep it on without supplementing, building muscle, and maintaining it. For someone who tends toward being on the fluffier side, especially if they are older, don't exercise, and don't watch what and how much they eat, it will be much harder for them to lose weight. One thing to remember about either gaining or losing, it is much better not to attempt to do either one overnight. For example, if you gain weight due to pregnancy, don't forget it took approximately the length of the pregnancy to gain, so expect that much time realistically to lose it. If you lost weight because of an accident, injury, or extended illness, keep in mind that it may take that length of time to regain it. Muscle weighs more than fat but it is also metabolically more active. This means that muscle will burn more energy. In turn you'll have to feed it more to build and/or maintain it. People also tend to have a set point where they plateau either with weight loss or weight gain. Wherever that spot is, unless you're truly unhappy with it because it's unhealthy, it will be hard to get past it because your body really will strive for balance.

For me when I was younger and skinny I could not gain weight no matter how hard I tried, but then I quit smoking and I put on 25 pounds which is where I wanted to be then I had my daughter and I went right back down to where I wanted to be, then I went to work in Fast food and put on another 35 pounds and for the life of me I cannot take it off.
