It would be a complete nightmare for me. Never mind the lack of food and drink, I would suffer from claustrophobia. I would hate to be trapped in a small space. I always use stairways in buildings whenever possible. Being locked in would not bother me so much if I had space to move around and water to drink. I think a whole weekend without water would be a serious health risk. I could keep myself entertained by my own thoughts and I could wait patiently to be rescued, as long as I was safe and not in a confined space.

41 hours? I would be hungry, cranky, tired and scared. I would be afraid I would die there.

I don't know if i can still live inside that elevator. I have fear of closed space so I think i will die in less than 24 hours. I hope it will not happen to me.

Actually, I was trapped in an elevator, but not for that long. It was in a hotel in either Edmonton or Calgary, more than 20 years ago. The elevator kept bouncing between floors and not stopping, for about 5 minutes, not long enough to start panicking. There was a convention going on, and I guess the elevator was having a hissy fit.

I am claustrophobic so I would probably pass out :). My workmates once shut me in a walk in fridge years ago and when the opened the door I was flat out on the floor xx

Hi raydene! That is really scary! I am not sure if I can remain calm if I will be trapped in an elevator alone for a longer period of time. However, I have no other choice except to wait for someone to come along to get me out and hopefully, I would remain calm. But most probably I will be crying. Just my thoughts dear friend. Take care and have a nice day!
