Did you see the Dr. Phil show today? This mother was totally messing with her grown kid's lives financially. She put money above love and acceptance. Has this ever happened to you? I know a guy that tried that business with me and he is soooo gone from my future. What about you? Ever experience anything like that?

I find that sad that any mother could be like that. Though as a mother myself, I can't seem to do away with financial worries, but its not the be all and end all of my existence. It's still my family and children that I hold dear and most precious. No money could top that no matter what. Money is supposed to make our lives better and buy us some convenience but its not supposed to replace love and acceptance.

That is too bad for the kids! Really too bad for them but much worse for her as it could backfire on her and someday she might really be lonely! I haven't had that experience but my bosses are that way....they choose money over having fun...or family time! They might be rich but that is all they have.

I hear that. True, true and it's something that only the person doing that to another can fix. Then there's the Karmic fall-out as well. Not good at all.

I feel bad for her kids. To love money more than you love your own children is selfish1

I know what you mean by that. I actually feel sorry for the woman. She is one sad person. I understand some of the issues she was facing; but the premise is messed up. Never do business with family.
