commercials here in the philippines say that there is a kind of coffee that is really good antioxidant. i believe that too much of coffee is bad for your health but if you just drink one cup a day, it is not harmful to you. ive been a coffee drinker for so many years and im still healthy. i guess it depends how much you have in a day. thanks.

Coffee have not any bad effect on health.coffee can be part of healthy balance diet if you take it in moderate amount. However coffee brewed by the plunger pot method contains high level of diterpenes,that have been shown to raise cholesterol. Good side of coffee is it increases level of alertness and attentiveness.

A limted amount of coffee is good for helath. But one can addicted to it very easily and that is where the problems start.

As I've said in one of my responses, I am a coffee lover. Though I can go on with my day without coffee, I do have my craving attacks at times. Some say it is bad because of the caffeine. I agree. Caffeine can cause migraines and palpitations if taken too much at a time. however, coffee is also a good anti oxidant. I think drinking coffee once a day is ideal enough. I know that the darker the coffee bean, the higher caffeine it contains. They say coffee will help keep you up in times that a person is sleepy... in my case, it does not work. Whenever I drink coffee, nothing changes. i just love its taste.

Coffee is DEFINITELY good for your health, provided of course that you don't take it in overwhelming dosages. Besides, commercialized coffees nowadays contain some other good stuff that makes it sound more like a herbal drink, but it's still coffee...or at least that's what the commercials say. I may go a little off-topic here. I don't know where I'd be at right now without coffee in my life. Coffee is definitely good *drools*...

Coffee does has its benefits .It is said to relieve Headache , helps against excessive sleep , prevents Alzeheimer's and much more. Check this : http://www.positivelycoffee.org for more .
