This is so cute! I have a golden retriever and she has always had to be on a leash or in a small penned area. We have a new house with a huge back yard in the woods so, unless she proves she can't be trusted to stick around, she can just run around. All that to say we just haven't had much opportunity to just go outside and play with her. Well, the boys are playing with their new bubbles and the dog is chasing them all over the place trying to catch them! Too funny!! Does you dog chase after silly stuff?

The Stupidest Dog I ever saw used to chase birds. He never did catch one as far as I know, but that never stopped him from trying. I'd sit down with him (time after time) and try to make him see the futility of his wasted effort. He listened attentively, and then, just when I thought I had him convinced, he'd take off across the yard, full tilt, chasing after a flock of starlings. My friends started coming over just to see his performance, and then they'd laugh at me. They never laughed at the dog, they felt sorry for him. Finally I became completely fed up with the dog's shenanigans, and put him out of his misery.

that sounds so cute! My dog use to do stuff like that. Not anymore though. He is 14 years old and although he does act like a pup sometimes, chasing things he just won't do.

We used to throw snowballs for our dogs and it was funny to watch them bite into them only to have them disintegrate. No doubt much like what's happening with your bubble-chasing retriever! Dogs can be quite comical. I miss mine terribly ...
