Just wondering if any can tell me if I can put XP professional on my computer even though it already has Vista home edition. If so is it a fairly simple process? I have the XP Professional disk already. What do I need to do? Keith

I concur also, just make sure that it has the same system - they are both 32bit or both 64bit.

There's an article in the May edition of PC magazine that talks about how people are going back to Windows XP. The trick is to trick the PC into thinking that what you are downloading is the Vista. It doesn't go into detail on how this is done, but if it is what others have been saying that that would be the answer. DCMerkle

The answert is Yes, but how to do it depends on whether you are using Windows XP instead of Vista or as well. To change over to Windows XP you can simply boot from the CD and delete the partition, then create a new partion and format it, followed by installing Windows XP. If you wish to use both then you will need to either repartition the hard drive to create another to house Windows XP or install another hard drive. Using a second hard drive is the preferable way to do this. Now you can install Windows XP on the free partition or hard drive.

Yes, you can do that. You need to partition your hard drive then install a WIN XP operating system.

You must have two different partitions in order to install windows xp and vista. You can install both of them on two different partitions.
