I went up to the gas station earlier to check on my basket of goodies that I have up there for sale and to bring more cookies up. Every last thing in the basket was gone! It had all been sold! Whoo-hooo!!!! I usually have one or two things in there still to change out. I am excited now! I had an envelope full of money to pick up too. I love it when you go to the gas station and they pay you!

I live in a rural area. The owner will not let me pay her anything for my toffee and cookies being up there. She is really sweet. She does swipe a bag of toffee every once in awhile though. She said that is her payment.

My sister was complaining the whole way to the post office on Saturday. She was sitting there with your toffee on her lap. She loves dark chocolate, so that made it even worse when I told her that it was dark chocolate toffee in the box.

That's so cool. :-) You may be the next Ms.Field's. How did you set the gig up? Do you know the gas station owner or what?

I only know her from going in there to buy gas and stuff. We got to talking one day and I happened to have some with me, so I let her try it. She loved it and offered to let me sell it there. I didn't even have to ask her.

Good job! I know when I go into those type of stores I'd much rather pay for something homemade that something pre-packaged that's loaded with preservatives. I hope your good fortune continues.

I have it packaged in little bags and marked for a buck each. It is only 16 cents more to buy my toffee than to buy a regular candy bar. I personally would rather have the toffee too for the price difference.
