One evening I was off work at a Nursing Facility. Then I decided to hang around until my transport arrive. I over heard a conversation between two of my co-workers that a client was having some chest discofort. So I followed my inquisitive mind and went in and asked her what was wrong. She asked me to put her to sit up in her wheel chair. No sooner I assisted her in the chair she leaned over speechless; I then called for help! We laid her on the floor and immediately I commenced CPR. I continued even though I was exhausted; I never let up until the EMTs took over from me. All along I was praying; "God please don't let her die." I heard one of the EMTs said, she still has life. After the assessment they told me "GOOD JOB"It was truly a blessing to have been able to help someone in distress. When I returned to work the next day; the folks says to me, "You are a hero, you saved a life."You know what! I didn't do that on my own. The Higher Power was with me. It is very gratifying to be able to help someone in distress. very gratifying feeling to be able to help someone in distress. distress.

Oh yes that is a wonderful feeling. But I would be afraid the person was dying too. It is so good that you were there and helped.

I was there in the place at just the right time. Thanks you much. I always said if something like that was to happen, how would I respond? In times like those all fears are illiminated.
