My aunt's (humorous?) phobia

It's not that her phobia (of spiders) is funny, but one day she and one of my other aunts was investigating an old cave (I don't know where it was). They found an old civil war uniform and button and were looking at them under the flash light. Then they shone the light around the cave and above, and saw that the roof of the cave was covered with spiders! She told me "you know how I feel about spiders, I just covered my head with my jacket and backed out of there as fast as I could! - That story still gives me the willies! Though we did have a good laugh about it. How would you react? Even if you didn't have a phobia of spiders!?
