Well I went to my local Petco because I had a coupon for free Royal Canin puppy food and while I was in the sections looking at puppy and dog food I saw something that caught my attention and wanted to know if anyone has tried it .. It's called Whole Meals and they come in a bag and the boast that it is a new shape of premium nutrition. LOL!! It a whole meal in the shape of a bone. Here is the site .. Please check it out. http://www.wholemeals.com/ So what do you think of this type of food? Are you willing to give it a try? If you go to the site they let you print out a $2.00 coupon towards the dog food.

I saw that as well at Petco a few weeks ago when I was there buying cat food. I even picked up the package (boy it's heavy for a small package) and scrutinized the label. Lil' expensive thou compared to Pet Promise that I currently feed my dog. Will check out the website and print out the coupon. Maybe I'll buy it to try out. I have a picky dog that will actually sit at his food dish for a few min. to see if he's going to get any yummies (human food or dog gravy) mixed into his dry food. If not, then he will eat.

After checking out the website and the ingredient list, I'm sticking with Pet Promise. There are no veggies or grains/fruit listed in the ingredients with Wholemeals like there is with Pet Promise. Also, I don't feed my dog by-products which is what is in Wholemeals.

Sounds interesting. I would have to see it first before I decided to purchase it for my baby.

I wouldn't use it as I don't have a dog! lol I don't think Tia my cat would appreciate it - she is very particular about her food! Sounds like your lovely little fella is getting very spoiled! xxx

yep but I can't give him this until he is out of his puppy years but just seeing it made me think how many people would actually use it.

I think I will stick the my dogs regular food and the occasional homemade treats. I have seen all sorts of new dog foods on the shelves lately. It is getting a little crazy the things they are coming up with.

it really doesn't shock me because it seems like they are coming out with everything for dogs and cats these days and yes i think i would be willing to give it a try to see if my dog liked it because it should be a little more healthy for him then the rest of the stuff that i have tried in the past...so i think that i will try and print out the coupon...thanks for the information
