What do you mean?

I see often people saying they reached their payout this month but there is no limit spoken of. I always wonder, did they reach their ten dollar limit or was their limit set at a higher payout? When you talk about payout what amount did you mean? My payout is 10.00 but of course sometimes it is over that and I like how myLot pays us what is in our accounts and not just the limit we choose. I have another site that irritates me to death because they only payout what I choose as payout and anything over that stays behind in my account. That is so annoying to me.

Sense you say next month does that mean your payout is 20.oo? Otherwise you would say this month I am over payout with 14.00.

On myLot, I assume if someone just says "payout," they mean $10. If they have set it higher, I'm sure they would say so, because it makes the accomplishiment that much more impressive.

I thought so too until after I started this discussion. Maybe they feel it is to personal to tell? Do you think so?

The minimum amount for cashout is set by MyLot and you can have it set yourself higher than the minimum. So long as you have reached the minimum by the end of the month it will be paid on the fiftheenth of the next month. Have a great time here from Deeeky.

That can only come from the members themselves, and judging by the responses that have been posted to your discussion, they are certainly doing that for you.

Yes my question basicly is do you ever wonder when people say they have reached their desired payout what that payout is? Like did they reach their goal of 10.00 or 30 or 50 dollars?

Me too but I know other don't so when I see them write I made payout I would like it sometimes if they said I made payout at 25.00. Just because it would be really encouraging to know it is possible if indeed it is the case. Do you ever trying to reach higher then the 10?

Unless they mention a higher limit I think they always mean the minimum payout of $10. Many people post when they first reach that amount and others say they have reached payout this month meaning they have more than $10 in their earnings. I earn enough to get paid every month but I think I am going to earn between $10 and $20 a month in future. I am well over the minimum amount already this month. I too like the way myLot pays. On the day you get paid your earnings total drops by the amount you are paid. If you have been posting since the start of the month there will already be some new earnings showing for that month.

I like your name too as I'm a coffee addict. My name is the same as my blog, and it is what I do.

That is great. I am going to try to reach my highest payout as well by the end of May. Trying for 30.00 leaving my payout at 10. I have 7 so we will see. It means being on here much more then I have ever been. How much time do you spend on here a day?

Do you ever reach 50 dollars in one month or does it take more time then that? I just can't imagine reaching payout at 50.

Even I am confused. But I think the other site's approach is not thats much bad. that approach is also having some merrits. you can keep what you want and take away what you want thats their philopsophy , i guess.

I think it is okay if a site says okay on this date you will be paid what is in your account up to the cut of date but I really think it is wrong that some hold the money for 60.00 from a cut of date. These sites make really good money there is no need to play games with their members and treat them like the members are only there to earn them money. It is a two way street and they should respect their members by being upfront and fair to them.

Well, for me anytime you hear me say I have reached payout on here, it is because I have earned at least $10 here. I know there are some on here who have their payouts higher than the $10 limit so maybe for them it is over $25 or something. Personally, for me, I am over payout now. We still have 3 days of earnings going into effect here still, and I am over $11 so I have reached payout again. But I know what you mean with other sites... I have been there too. I feel if you reach payout, you should get everything coming to you then, and not have to leave some behind. Some good thoughts here, and Best of Luck to you.

As of right now, I have my payout set to $10, but am thinking of changing it to $25. Not sure yet if I am going to do it or not, but have been thinking about it. I have been paid more than the $10 payout before when I reached over $10.

I was thinking of changing my payout to 25.00 as well but then I thought what difference does it make if I keep it at 10.00. I will probably always reach payout and if not the next month I will have close to twenty or more. So I think I have decided to leave it.

some ppl have their payouts set higher than the $10 minimum but when I read that someone (including myself) has reached payout I just figure they mean the $10...Not that it matters what the amount is though, I mean reaching payout is reaching payout ya know...

I agree with you except it is exciting to know that if someone as their limit say at 30.00 wouldn't it be exciting to know that made it in a month? Do we all pick ten dollar payouts or do many of us go for the fifty?

look some has 10$ and some has set to more than taht. when they say taht they have raeched it, it must be that the earing at that point is greater tahn what it is set for for that user. i have mine at 10$. so when i tell, it means mor than 10 only.

If I reached payout I would say I made it to my payout this month. If I reached more then payout I would said I reached more then my payout this month. When people reach payout I think it is so exciting that it crosses my mind that I like to know what they reached. But really it is none of my business now is it? I can share in their joy without knowing can't I?

well in mycase i have enetered $25 as my minimum and i have reached it at various points and have even passed it ,payout is simply when you reah your minimum payment you ahve set for yourself, its great that mylot will only pay you what you have as your balance at payout and not the minimum set

Maybe you mean if you set your goal at 10 dollar, and you had 15 dollar at end of month, did you get 10 dollar and left 5 behind or mylot pay you 15 dollar right? For me I set my goal at 10 first for my first payment. I don't wanted appear too greedy and set at too high. After 10 dollar maybe 25 and after I can manage it, maybe higher than that.

Here is the thing about myLot. If you set your payout at 10.00 but you made 25.00 by the cut of date then you get 25.00 from myLot. If you set your goal to 25.00 but you only made 10.00 at cut of date then guess what? You don't get any money that month as it rolls over to the next month or until you do reach the 25.00. I would rather keep my limit at 10.00, aim to reach that goal and hopfully get paid even more by cut of date.

That is why I ask the question. I notice when people say they reached payout they most often don't say what the payout is. So I am left being curious if they stick to the low 10 limit or brave to have it higher. If higher for the month do they actually meet their payout. I know that I find it hard to meet the 10.00 payout. Do you find it hard to reach payout in a month? Does it take you two months or more? One time it took me over 4 monts to reach 10.00 just because everytime I came to myLot I only had a few short min to post.

See I like that the reaminder stays in your account. What stays behind is what you have earned on the new month. That is over and beyond the amount that you earned so far this month towards your next cashin. If you want to zero your balance just don't post beyond the first of the next month and then you probably will not have that overage that galls you so much. Or you can cancel you r account on the last day of the month and then you definitely will not have that overage that bothers you so much. I like it, It gives me somewhere to start on the next month instead of it going down to 0. Don't sweat the small stuff sweetheart, there are real things in live that you can develop issues about. The little bit that we make on mylot is inconsequential to the bigger picture of our lives. Everyone has their per peeves though.

3 May 08
True everyone has their peeves that is for sure even you I am sure. In the scheme of things no one puts them above the real issues of life. I think in the case of myLot the cut of date is the end of the month and you get paid in 30 days so of course there is a balance left in our accounts from the new month by the time they take the money out. I don't mind I like it because it feels like I have a good jump start on the new month. In the case of other sites. It might take months and months to reach payout. So for them to keep even 40 cents in the account hurts. Because when you do reach payout it usually takes you 60 days to get paid and for another you might want to quite but when you have a balance it is to tempting to try and reach another payout because you hate to leave that hard earned money behind. This is not an issue for some people but for people who use these sites to make ends meat its a different story. I can't say I am in the position but I know people on here that are so for them yes I think it is an issue something that causes some frustration for them and I don't think of it as small stuff for them. Will the good news is that myLot is a great site all the way around no complaints!

I have never thought about it that way, CoffeeAnyone. I always assumed when someone refers to reaching payout that they meant the achieved more than $10. I forgot that we had the option to set it higher. I am so glad that I do not belong to a program that only pays the payout amount you selected. That would annoy me.

I think it is great to have the option to build my earnings up. My problem is I like to get my earnings out as soon as possible because I have a fear of losing it if the site would disappear. I don't think myLot will but I do think the money might as well be in my paypal account as anywhere. I do wish more sites were like this one. Now that I think about it there really are some good sites out there that treat their members well.

I'm agreeing with everyone else, I'm pretty sure we can safely assume that if anyone has reached "payout", then they've got at least $10, considering that's the minimum =) I'm going to reach payout this month, which is exciting, because I've been inactive for a while. This will be my second payout since I started using MyLot about 10 months ago =) I'd be very impressed to hear of someone reaching the higher targets of $20 or $50, that's a real achievement =)

I was reading through some mylot discussions earlier and saw a few comments where people said they reached the 50 dollar goal. Mind you they also said it took them four months to do it. I don't know of anyone who has made that in one month but I bet they can if they had some active referrals. A lot of them that is. Congrats on your 2nd payout this would be my third if I worked hard the next few days but I won't.

It seems like most people mean 10.00 when payout is reached. I have my payout set at 50.00, but I know it is going to take me a long time to be able to reach that payout. I'll be excited when I do though.

Good for you; wow 50.00 that will seem like a great accomplishment. I would like to raise my payout to 50.00 but I can't seem to do it. I have been burnt to many times with sites going down and my earnings with them. So I figure the faster I get my pay out the better. Not that myLot is going anywhere but just in case I will loose less if my limit is at 10.00 then 50.00. Might as will be in my paypal account then in theirs.
