What would you do if there was things lacking in your relationship?

what if you told your partner how you felt about the things that were lacking in your relationship and for years nothing changed or got better what would you do? How would you handle it? I would like some imput on this subject..

honestly..I broke up with him because the things that needed to change affected how he treated me. If things are lacking then that's not the relationship for you and you should find someone who does give you what you need.
