What do you think if........................

why to close a discussion. you may have a better answer at anytime. well, if your question is answered you can make a best response but does not mean you will not have a better answer anymore. that is what I think.

Hi all of us here would have experienced or got a good response after marking BR. If my lot closes the discussion officially, there are chances that other member might start the same discussion and mylot cannot makeout whether it is a similar or same discussion.

No. I don't think that is fair, There are new members being added everyday and they should be able to respond to the older posts , even if the post has a best response .

I endorse your views. It is a very good idea that if this kind of feature is activated where a member has the choice to close his/her discussion after choosing a best response. But I feel, it should be the discretion of the member to close a discussion or leave it open. And even if a discussion is treated as 'closed', the member should have an option to see it, as and when s/he wishes to see it.

Well, ellie what would it be like if the discussion you know a lot about and want to reply to it. You think that you are able to answer it and clarify it in a better way than anybody or anyone else. In that case, what happens if you would like to reply and the discussion has been closed? Surely, you won't like it simply because you were deprived of your right. So, in the case I think for some discussion yours suggestion is cool but in most cases it won't be. Overall: I think it's right in one case and wrong in the other. This is what I think. :)

in my honest opinion it doesnt matter, i feel it will be better if you just let the discussion open to everybody coz sometimes the OP wont pick a best response yet or the OP pick the best response so early in the thread. also some people dont care if there is already a best response on the discussion they are participating coz for them, like me, we care more that we are just participating and not to have the best one. im happy and grateful to have one but if i dont i am happy as well, i feel that is more important in all threads as it helps it grow and builds up. NOW mylot should do something though for those posters who keeps posting the same stuff and just changing the title a little bit coz some people dont know that and when they post there such topic will be deleted and the posters lose points and earnings as well, just not fair. anyway, just my thoughts regarding this matter. great question though. takecare!

i prefer to to remain the same feature than adding a new which we can no longer post after best response is denoted. even the best response is denoted still we can earn on it if we post but if the discussion is close you will not earn anymore from you discussion.

i think it would good if we could edit also and be able to end a discussion when we feel like it has went on longer than needed or you find resolve. that way it would also make room on here for new ideas and topics as well and not slow it down so much in searching for things of interest. if it our discussions we should be able to decide when to end it.

Hi,ellie, In general,there is no problem for adding the new feature,but,I think it is unfair for the new member,maybe they want to browse this discussion,they can't read it if you close this discussion,perhaps the tips from new member is the best!! Thanks for your discussion!
