Yesterday was a good day for me accompanying my mom with her visits to farms and companies. It was a hot day considering it was summer here. I didnt mind the heat as I got to be in the heat when I was driving a motor. Lunch was superb as we ate in a nice restaurant with good delicious food served. Come afternoon I was already feeling numb in my nape and feeling nauseous and a headache. I tried sleeping all the way home as I was not really feeling well already. When we reached home, it was dinner time already and I just went straight to my room and lie to bed as I was in total pain in my head. I knew I my blood pressure is up again so much after a long time and I was crying in pain that I could not stand it. I had to be given a medicine to calm down my pressure and some hot compress. My mom was afraid as it was an unpredictable sickness which my dad died of. This was my second call and the first one I was rushed in the hospital and injected with some medicine. Did you ever had such near call that you were so sick you nearly was rushed to the hospital? Its so fearful to be in that situation. What could you have done if a loved one of yours was in that situation? Thanks for your responses. « Gab »

I once couldn't move with severe pain for a bout a week, I just woke up one morning and my whole side was in total pain. I couldn't move, I couldn't lay down or sit up straight, I had to sleep sitting up because I was in too much pain if I laid down. I almost went to the hospital but then it finally eased after a week.

Hi Winterose. That was a lot of time enduring the pain for about a week. Did you take any painkillers for that? I know it was hard sleeping sitting but I'm glad you got through it finally and the pain subsided. I think you should have asked the doctors the cause of your pain and you could not move. Take care dear. « Gab »

doctors never do anything here without extrays and the exrays never show anything on my. It could very well have been my fibromyalgia which I didn't know I had back then, Pain killers never work on me.

I was in a similar situation and I finally knew that I had to have help so Iwent to my doctor as I was bleeding copiously from my rectum and had no idea why and my tummy hurt so b bad I couldharldy bare it.he checked me and surprised me when he said I want you to go to the emergency room at once and I will pay for your cab. you must be checked out as I am not at all sure where that blood is coming from. so I took a cab to the emergency room all the time having horrid diarrhea and feeling so awful sick and embarrassed as I was in a huge mess.I was astonished when they saw me as a patient immediately and those sweet er nurses did not flinch at the ungodly and smelly mess that they had to clean off me.they told me I would undoubtedly not be going home so had to phone my son and tell him the bad news. Ihad not dreamed it was that bad a thing so had not been prepared to go to the hospital to stay; it took five days and four pints of blood to findout I had had bleeding diverticulitis. now i am fine. if it had been my son I would have sent him at once to our doctor and expected him to be put in the hospital.

That was an intense situation you went through and I'm glad you have passed through it and now are cured. The humiliation may be there but it was so professional of those nurses and staff to take care of you in that situation. Thats whats commendable about them. And for your doctor to have assessed you well and not to loose a lot of blood and detect at early stage what was s wrong with you. Any intense bleeding I would also consult my doctor and go to the hospital. « Gab »

I get migraines where I can't think or concentrate on anything. I hate them. I also feel very naucious with them. Friday, I had a Migraine and well, I got up and ate and then I took one of my pain pills for my back. I thought it would help my headache as well. NOPE! I started to feel real shacky and naucious and I just couldn't concentrate. All I wanted to do was lay down, but I was afraid to do that. I was afraid I wouldn't wake up. lol Hubby called about lunch, I told him I felt real sick. I ate half of lunch (he bought me a chicken plate) and put the rest in the fridge. I took some alka seltzer and it helped me for about 2 hours then I started to feel the same way. I am so happy I felt better yesterday. I know how you must have been feeling. My daughter worries about me and gives me 2 days to feel better and then she is nagging me to go to the hospital. When my daughter is feeling that way, I am telling her to take her medicine and vitamins and if she isn't feeling better, to go to the doctor. Nothing you can really do about migraines. Our's are hormonal, weather and allergy promoted. Hope you feel better soon

Are you sick or something. Do you feel the same often. Please see your doctor and have a body check up. Its good seeing your doctor early. Whatever it is it can easily be detected and cure can be given. Take care of your health.

I woke up one morning feeling sick to my stomach and so dizzy I thought I was going to fall off the bed. The room was spinning badly. I called a friend and asked her to take me to the emergency room. I was so scared, She had to stop the car a few times for me to empty my upset stomach on the side of the road. When I got in the examining room and was told to get up on the table, the nurse had to help me, the room was still spinning so bad. Well it turned out to be an inner ear infection. I have never had anything like that before.

Wow that as unusual having a stomach ache but the problem was your ear. But It was good that the doctor found the cause of your sickness, Its not so nice feeling to be in that situation.
