So, what do you think of the Doctor's new companion? At first, I really didn't think I liked her much, but after this last show, I find she's growing on me. And I want a purple dress just like that one she had on in last night's show.

I do not like her as a comedianne or as an actress. i think she takes away from the good writing on the show as her acting ability detract from the writing. as you can see, i do not like her! bring back Martha or Rose!!!!!!!!

I was just wondering how many of the Doctor's Companions came to the series having had their own series before?! I recently saw my first episode with this New Doctor (I'd watched most of Christopher Eccleston's episodes with Billie Piper, but missed the changeover) and Catherine Tate..and it looked like She was about to leave! I enjoyed her performance!

It's different watching it in America. I had never seen or heard of Catherine Tate before, and didn't know she was a commedienne. I had never heard any of Billie Piper's music or seen her perform before, either. I met them both as the Doctor's companions. But I absolutely adored Rose; she is my favorite companion ever, and I've watched every doctor there's been. I liked Martha, though she was no Rose. Catherine Tate's character is growing on me much slower. I like her a little better each time, but she still just bothers me.

I do like Donna, but then I didn't particularly like Rose or especially Martha. I think it's nice to have a bit of humour for a change and Catherine Tate does it well.
