Have relatives where you are going! (Works for Me!) There's a recent online innovation,I think the site may be couchsurfer.com..IIRC,the idea is that somebody lets you kip on their sofa..they're not expecting payment, but if you buy them a meal or something, everybody's happy! |

It sounds as though things were moving a little too fast for Your Friend at this Party! Nobody introduced this Guy to Her,She didn't know who He was,Nobody She knew there apparently knew him,and Yet She felt obliged to give a complete Stranger Her Number,at which point He shows a lack of trust in Her giving him the correct Number and rings her immediately! Cellphones have made it easier for peo... |

Sounds like the right hand doesn't know what the other one is doing with all this confusing or contradictory misinformation..Doesn't this group have a customer service helpline that could give you definitive guidelines for these circumstances?Credit cards are a pain in the neck for those on a low income..I'd prefer using my debit card too on most occasions, but I hear cash transactions are rare ... |

Is He an indoor cat only,or does He get out at times? It Sounds like He doesn't get out for much exercise,so he'd really need to be doing some indoors which would usually involve You playing more with him, getting him moving....And a cutting down on his food,or a switch to a lighter version of his food seems to be a good idea too.Has the Vet commented on his condition or given any suggestions? |

Here we are again... the UK scrappage scheme is getting another run around the block, only this time,My car's now become eligible! I'm still not keen on the idea of a brand new car finance plan for the next 3 years or so,and I see some makers are offering the scrappage scheme on those personal finance schemes with the balloon payment at the end so that you either stump up another few grand,or ha... |

Administration of this could put some people's noses out of Joint..I don't believe GPS derived applications as a possible solution would be very popular with the invasion of Privacy/ conspiracy theorists.Personally,I've yet to own a car with an onboard computer or diagnostic recorders that will notify service personnel of any issues that need attention when a service interval comes up,but even ... |

Just wondering on reading this article,Aren't the "Top Gear" Producers/Presenters aware of this possibility?! Seriously, though,Was this event taking place by special permission in an access vehicle tunnel? AFAIK,The car train was the only approved crossing method-I've not heard of a coastline to coastline "record" by ANY other land based road vehicle? |

| 1 year ago Thanks for accepting my FR. I hope you will find my discussions interesting. Please don't take it personally if I don't respond to every comment but I assure you I will read them all. If I don't respond it's probably because I agree with what you say and can add nothing to it. But I will rate each comment I find positive. Thanks again. MTAM | | dorypanda (1041)
