I've been getting into reading manga a lot lately. It stated off only with reading manga which extended on an anime, but I've been reading mangas which don't have anime. Anyway, I wanted to know what good ones are out there. I've read quite a bit so far, most of them are ongoing so I'm gonna have to wait and most aren't licensed in the US either. So mostly download. Here's what I've read do far: Naruto One Piece Bleach Absolute Boyfriend Boys over Flowers Blood+ Hana-Kimi Love Strip Love Celeb MAR & MAR Omega Fall in love like a Comic Prince of Tennis Bitter Virgin Boku ni Natta Watashi Desire Climax Gash Bell Girl Saurus & Girl Saurus DX Love & Collage Love Monster Oruan High School Host Club Princess Resurrection Step Up Love Story Trigun Trinity Blood Angel Sanctuary ...so things along those lines I guess. I don't mind action Mangas, but I'd rather see a fight scene in an anime more then manga. I'm looking for more 'storyline' based manga. Shoujo is fine, but I like others as well. I guess you can see a good mix Romantic Comedy, I don't mind Mature or Ecchi ones as long as its tasteful...please no hentai. So please put any manga recommendations you think i'd like, include summery and maybe a download link if possible. THANK YOU EVERYONE there is really no place to really find recommendations.

oh, love Trinity Blood both manga and Anime, but you should read the novels. There are 2 sets out set at 2 different times. It does get slightly confusing. But we got jipped with the Anime since they didn't continue. Also, the author of the novel (and manga) passed away not too long after announcing the production of the anime so which is why they probably decided not to continue the anime. But I also heard left the story itself unresolved. So i started reading the novel since its the original storyline to find out how far the story goes.

OMG. Finally I started a discussion a while ago to see if anyone had read Boys over FLowers here and nobody responded but I see that you have read it. Well since I'm broke and I really can't buy too many mangas I get mine from the libray. I think you would really like Peach Girl and Ceres. I really forgot about both of those because I haven't read them in a while but they are good and you should chech them out.

Why not try: Skip Beat - how a 16 year old tries to become an actress to get revenge on her "bf?" and meets the famous 20 yr old actor Ren...you get the picture. lol. Its really long, and presently about 19 volumes are out Glass mask - a 14 year old girl who loves to act dramas gets picked as a candidate for the "Crimson Goddess"... she's got a rival who's already a famous actress, and some really great charaters. This manga is better than skip beat if you look at acting talent. Tenshi Ja Nai - a guy who's disguised as a girl attending a all-girls school because he wanbts the money as an actress. Its completed now. Power - a girl disguised as a guy in a boy's school so that she can meet her idol, but gets roomed with him instead. H3 - its good. Bitter Virgin - its about a guy who falls in love with a girl who gave birth twice..but is still a high school student. its pretty cute actually. My Barbaric Girlfriend - a guy had to fall in love with *that* girl. They switch souls as a result of some crazy experiment of the girl's granpa, and the story takes off there. 3 or 4 volumes out liar game - a honest girl gets pulled into a "liar game" and gets the help of a con-artist to win it through. Better to watch its series.. its really a very thoughtful work.

I have the Battle Royale Manga series. The book by Takami is one of my favorite books of all time and I ended up watching the movie too and have it on dvd now. So I just had to collect the Manga series. I don't know if this is the kind you like. http://mangahut.com/manga/Battle+Royale/001 I don't know if you're familiar with Battle Royale so here's the gist: http://www.amazon.com/Battle-Royale-Koushun-Takami/dp/156931778X Enjoy!

Most definitely, I LOVE Angel Sanctuary. All of Kaori Yuki's works are excellent--I've also fallen in love with the series Godchild ^^ Usually shojo focuses on girls and their drama filled love lives, but one shojo I loved was Nana simply because I think it focused on friendship more. (Yes, it is still packed with boy drama but the emphasis isn't on that) The basis of friendship between the two girls is what's keeping me reading the manga XD Are there any Mangas similar to Angel Sanctuary?
