Hi! I have a dream laptop too and I guess it will stay that way. I want a small one, small enough to fit in my bag but big enough that my fingers can move freely in the keyboard. I want it to have a huge memory so that I can install all the software that I need and still be able to install all of the games that I want. It also needs to have a really long battery life so I can carry it anywhere without having to worry about the battery every few hours. The description above is still a bit realistically. My dream gadget is actually a sort of transformer model. It has the funtions a laptop with internet connection, can be used as a cellphone, can also be used as a good point and shoot video camera and digital camera, and last but not the least it should have the function of a video game console like maybe a gameboy or a playstation. Now thats my dream gadget!^_^ I guess I wont live long enough to see that happen. Anyways, the most close enough model out in the market today is the smallest Sony Vaio. I forgot the model name but its sort of a handheld laptop with a sliding screen that reveals a keyboard.

Oh, you're really that much of a geek huh??^_^ Anyways, thanks for the info and you really love Macbook Air taht much too huh? what is it with Mac computers?? Ive seen the Air when it was first released to the world. It is very thin and Im really not that much keen on thin things. Im always afraid that Ill squish them to bits and pieces or somehting. This sentiment also goes to cellphones like the Ultra Edition of Samsung and the thin Moto phones. I really appreciate you're evaluation and its quite detailed. Why havent I met you when Im in the market for a laptop?? Ive got one and its an Acer. Didnt pick it myself just went home to find it on the table. Its the one recommended by my mom's officemate who is in charge of the tech department. Its a travelmate model. Thanks for the info and I hope you get that laptop you want^_^.

YES. :) Haha! I am that much of a geek! By the way, there is an ultraportable that may suit your specifications, just don't get the Vista OS for it. :) Fujitsu P7230 reference article: http://www.geek.com/ubuntu-goes-ultraportable/?welcome=true :) It's pretty small and it has a loooooooooong battery life, 9.5 hours! I was just researching for another article on ultraportables. :) Well, you know whom to poke when you need help on a laptop now, right? Nice seeing you here! :)

We dream of the same laptops except I haven't heard of the last one. I love macs because they last forever and they are so cute. I still have my G3 ibook from 2001. It's old and slow compared to newer computers but it still works.

my dream laptop would be the macbook pro or the Hp artistic edition that looks really good. I think features and price wise the hp is better. I cant believe such a good laptop like is at an average laptop price. the artist would designed it is only 20 years old, man he has some imagination.

i found several Artist Edition HP Pavillions: the dv6700t looks so much sleeker and it has the kind of art i really would go for. the dv2800t looks like street graffiti, and I didn't get to appreciate it much. though it's really edgy, i think gmask offers a much better way to customize your laptop. For only around $150, you can have your entire laptop "gmasked." Gmask is a kind of wrapper/protection with cool designs you can choose from. Check out: http://www.gmask.com.ph

My dream laptop would be a tablet notebook pc. I really want to have something like that, any brand would be okay for me as long as it's a tablet notebook. I am thrilled with the thought of being able to draw and write on your laptop!!! waah, I wanna have one~! :)

Yeah, but though I think that those are exciting, I think nothing beats pen and paper. Heheh. :) They're rather expensive though. But yeah, I see why you like them. Thanks for answering! :)
