Should Frusciante be ranked with Jimi, Eric, B.B. and the greatest.

Certainly the lead guitarist for RHCP is the one of the best currently. He has been cranking out beautiful music for years now, but does he rank with the best? Will he be remembered as a legend. The entire band will be, but will he?

He should be. His solo albums display his talent even more so than his work with RHCP. He's a genius when it comes to guitar and should be given the recognition he deserves.

I do like his guitarwork but there is no way that I would compare him as great as Jimi Hendrix. He has written some good music but hes nowhere near as influential and hasn't made anywhere close the impact that Hendrix made on guitar playing.
