Do you say "I can" more than "I can't"?

People who have security do not give up when faced with a difficult situation; they say "I can" rather than "I can't." Each day is an opportunity to use our talents to acquire good health, good friendships, great accomplishment and great happiness, we should always put our best foot forward. Seriously, how many of us can put our best foot forward and live our life to the fullest everyday? Can you be proud to say that you are content about yourself that you do not judge others, nor do you judge yourself? Can appreciate the differences between yourself and other people?

there are certain things I cannot do because of disability and that is just a fact of life, but the things I can do I will do, and that is the different between success and failure. Yes I appreciate difference and I even run an e-zine to promote cultural awareness as well.

Now that I am a disabled adult, I know what you mean! It is tough to accept but sometimes I really cannot do something!

If I say I can do but in fact I can't do, I'll become a liar. But if I say I can't too much, I'll become incompetent. So I say I can as much as I can't. I rely on my ability to say I can or I can't.

oh yes... i try my best to be as optimistic as i can... of course it has to be reasonable as well... but generally, i try to say i can more than i can't because itis more positive and if you set your mind to do something, you definitely can do it... take care and have a nice day...

Yes, i try to say I can more often than I can't. i think we all should look out for ways so that we can say that I can, I will. But there are also instances where i have to say I can't.

Sad to say, I am my own worst enemy in this area of my life. I have no problem helping others to see that they can do things, as each have abilities and talents. As for myself, though, I picture failure rather than success and thus I cant rather than I can. Sad but true in many cases and instances in my life.

Well I don'say I can more than I can't but I always say I will. I can only try and do my best, more than that is not possible. Most of times I will find out that I can do it even if I taught I could not. However I am never really proud of myself, maybe I should try to be once in a while.

I can say that I try! I have heard that Americans are not supposed to say I can't! After all, the last part of American is I can!

It's not security, but more to self belief.. Everyday in life, everybody is entrust with different opportunities, depending on how u see them.. But for some, they will think everyday is the same boring day with nothing new.. In fact they are wrong.. Just because they dun wanna try new things, and they avoid it.. We are the ones to make our life interesting, not the other way round.. So time management is very important, because without time and without proper control, no matter how interesting your life can be, will also be restricted by time..

I think I am about 50/50 on the I can and I can't. While I am generally positive, there are still a lot of things that I don't do that I should. It is fair to say though, that I am fairly content with my life otherwise I would change it! I mean of course there are some things that I hope to change and thanks to the gentle reminder I found within this discussion I am going to dedicate tomorrow (Wed) being the best person I can be with a can do attitude like you wouldn't believe!

I always say I can't, as a child I would say it, and my Dad would tell me that there is no such word as Can't. I think there is, even though when my children say it too, I tell them there is no such word as Can't!! I do try to be more positive about things in life and try to say I can do it, but I do not have a lot of confidence and so it can be hard.

Till this day i was always happy the way i am ... as i think differently and i am one the 'i can' type rather that i can't type. Yes you are right we have some or other kind of opportunity always at our front we have to recognize it and utilize it.
