Yesterday,i and my wife quarrel!

Yesterday,i and my boss out to eat dinner together.
I notice my wife and i don't back home to eat dinner at night!we have just prepared a meal came to the hotel,my wife called me,she said that a power failure at home,let me come back.
i told my wife:can i and my boss to go home after eating meal?but she insisted on not agree with!i am very angry,i quarrel with her over the phone.
i and my boss is on a very important matter,but i thinky my boss and good relations!
I would like to ask you,if your wife let you go home,do you go back?

Could you clearify? Do you mean she told you not to come home? Why was she angry? Was it because you were with your boss, or because she had made dinner and you didn't come home. Did she say not to come back for the night, or forever?
Personally- I would never tell my partner not to come home. I can't understand why your wife would say this. Did you have a good relationship with your wife before this? I say, if you want to go home, its your house, go home!

From a girl's point of view, I think she just worried about you and felt lonely at home.
Next time, you explain it to her softly and clearly. She will understand it. Whatever, a wife will support her husband's career.
