 Haha, though we Chinese don't have this day as an official holiday, I appreciate thanks giving day very much. It is such a good occasion that reminds us to express our profound thanks to others and the life. This is really a good day.

Haha, in the book, the author also says there is another metaphor that time is not moving, what is moving is us. So we get linguistic examples like "Christmas is approaching". I think this comes from the idea that time is eternal, but life is part of it.
