I mean, how many times you wear a particular clothe before actually sending it to laundry?

I wear my pant-shirt for a day only, then it is sent for washing. Here in my city so much pollution and dust is there, that clothes get dirty very soon, one does not feel like wearnig the same next day. However, in winters, I can wear a shirt for two days, but not in other seasons. What about you? What do you do about your clothes?

Thanks for the reply. Yes, ndia being hot and humid it's difficult and unhealthy to repeat the same clothe unwashed. I wear cotton clothes mostly and wear it 2 times bfore washing. But it's never in succession. Like If I wear a washed dress today I will wear it gain next week. I lay them flat under fresh air or fan. And jeans I wear for some days, yes quite a few times.....lol

You appear to me very smart and practical, as you do not use the same dress next day, you use it after giving it a break, so that others cannot judge whether you are repeating your dress of two days earlier. You are following the right appraoch and consequently saving lots of water and soap and detergents too. Well Done!

I take that as a compliment. Actually when we leave a worn dress under fresh air a lot of the humidity goes off and more than ppl around you realising it was being worn, it gives you a sense of clean feeling. And washing cotton clothes and ironing them after each wear indeed gets expensive.

hi Candee. I wear clothes once, twice or few times, depending on sort of the clothes. I wear jeans and sweaters(I put undershirt under the sweater) more than twice, about 3-5 times. Blouses, T-shirts, tops - I wear them once or twice. And of course when it comes to underwear, I wear it once before washing it again:). have a nice day, jazgottt.

Hi Candee, I only wear underwear, t-shirts and blouses the once before washing but a pair of jeans I may wear two or three times before putting through the wash and also cardigans I will wear a few times also. Most of my washing comes from my son, he is four and is a dirt magnet. I am sure he can get out of a bath dirty ! I often have to change his clothes two or three times a day. Ellie :D

The weather here in my place is rather hot. This always makes me sweating a lot easily. So I am used to change my clothes after having cold shower. I would feel uneasy if I put on again the sticky clothes after bathing. I usually dump all the laundry into the washing machine in the evening daily.

it depends..my jeans and slacks and blouse that i wear at work and at the mall or anywhere...any clothes that i wear when i step at the house, once i take it off it go straight to the laundry. the clothes i wear just to sleep in i can wear that for 2 to 3 nights then i put it in the laundry.

once, I will not wear something again untill it has been washed. Mostly for hygenical reasons but also because I don't want people thinking i'm cheap or poor because they see me in the same outfit too often.

For tops, only once but for some pants especially jeans, sometimes I wear it 2 to 3 times before I send it to the laundry.

Hi There, I guess I am one of those people that only wears something once before I put it in the laundry. I know this is quite wasteful, but it is a bad habit I have developed. I think wearing something a couple of times before putting it in the laundry makes a lot more sense and is a whole lot more economical. cheers,

Yes, washing machines are adding to the glabal warming thing and it better we reduce the use of it. But having said this. it's difficult to rewear daily dresses. It feels dirty, especially in India. I try to manage it twice. However, expensive, good dresses cannot be cleaned everytime we wear thoe. The fabric, lustre get spoiled.

It pretty much depends on what I'm wearing and where I've been. Sometimes I can wear something a couple of times, but other times if I'm somewhere where people smoke, I send it right away. If I hang it up, I find that the other clothes reek of smoke too. Sometimes I can wing it a couple of times but most of the times I can't!
