I discovered that I was sending a birthday card to a friend of mine in the wrong month recently. I would always forget if it was July or August. Tell your mom "happy birthday". Tomorrow is my birthday. Wont say how old I will be, he he.

I did this same thing to my grandmother on her birthday earlier this year. I called a day ahead to wish her happy birtday. I felt very bad when she said no my birthday is tommorrow.

Oh yes, I am very forgetful too. But I always remind myself that it is the thought that counts. So remembering it on the wrong day is far better, I think, than forgetting it altogether! I think we are all allowed to get things wrong sometimes. that's part of our fallibility. :o)

Oh yes!!! Many times! I hate it very much! I'm a little bit abstracted person because I am hard at work and don't get enough sleep all the time, so.. usually I forget days of births or confuse the date..I know that my family and friends understand me but still it isn't good.. I found the alternative! Now I have all important dates in my mobile phone as reminders! When mobile starts to bleep I know that I forgot something :)

When my brother was married for a couple of years I sent his wife a birthday card wishing her a happy birthday. Well it wasn't her birthday it was my mom's I wasn't raised by my mom so didn't have much contact with her. I remembered that the day was someone's birthday and thought it was my sister-in-laws we had a good laugh about it at the timer.

Well not with anyone in my family, I know all their birthdays as these things are important to me, but I have forgotten or mistaken days for birthday of some of my friends sometimes. Now I use birthday alarm, www.birthdayalarm.com and I have them send me a notice for all the birthday reminders that I need.

I cant say much cause I am doing good if I can remember when my grandkids birthdays are. I know what month but I cant seem to always get the exact date right.

No, I don't think it has. However I did call my mom to wish her a happy birthday and she replied with "It's my birthday?!?" LOL I asked her "It's on the 7th, right?" and she said yes. Apparently she forgot it was her birthday! LOL But she told me she doesn't bother with birthdays anymore, at least not her own! LOL

Yes many times. I sometimes forgot the exact birthdays of my friends. I greeted them on the wrong day and sometimes i greeted wrong person, that makes them wonder and tease me that I am so forgetful. So now i have this organizer to avoid it, but I am still forgetful, LOL.

Yes I goofed up big time just last month but than it wasn't entirely my fault ! It happens to be my aunt's bday on a certain day of April, now the confusing part is that the same day is her son's b'day too and her daughter's wedding anniversary toooooo ! So, basically, mom and son share the same b'day and the daughter gets married on the very same date ! Being very close to the whole of Aunt's family I never forget the special day, only this time instead of wishing my aunt a happy b'day, i wished her happy anniversary !!

No I have never got my mums birthday wrong or anyone else in the family that I am supposed to remember but I have forgotten my brother in laws birthday for the last 2 years running which has not gone down too well. I have made sure that I will not forget it this year though as I have put it on the calendar ready!!

Hi wooitsmolly! Oh that happened to me once a long time ago. I called my friend to wish her a happy birthday and it's agood thing, it was her mom who answered the call. i told her mom that I just want to wish her daughter (my best friend) and she told me you are one month earlier dear. Her birthday was July 27 and I called her June 27. haha..Happy Birthday to your mom, wooitsmolly! Just my thoughts. Take care and have a nice day!

That has not happened to me yet. I say yet because I wouldn't be all that surprised if it did. I can't remember anything unless I write it down and sometimes even then I can't remember stuff.
