Can't we just all get along?

Lately, my Maxie cat, a former stray, has learned a lot. For example, he learned that if he is in the same room as Columbus, he needs to run quickly into the basement before Columbus starts running after him. Another lesson learned that if he is trapped, Maxie has learned to growl menacingly and keep his ears flattened to discourage Columbus from going after him. Another lesson is that if his human owner opens the door, to try to scoot outdoors and revisit old territories. Maxie's also learned that it's easy to sample the food in the other cats' dishes when he is STILL hungry and that certain dry food tastes better than the one he's fed. Those are the key lessons learned by a younger cat who is gradually becoming acclimated to his new multicat home. He's not the only one, though. The cats who already live in the house could use some lessons as well, but what are they?
