does your mother know how to use computer

My mother is 40 years old. She does not know how to use a computer but she has many other talents such as cooking tasty food, baking and sewing. She doesn't need a computer so she didn't want to learn it.

My Mom knows a bit of the computer. Shes 52 years old and she know the basic stuff that the older versions of windows like 98 have. I mean she knows the basic microsoft office tools and stuff. She still prefers to use diskettes and doesnt mind the cds but I dont think she knows much about USB and other digital media computer connections like how to burn a cd using nero(i still dont, I can burn them into the cd, they jsut burn into the cd rom, im following all the instructions and I dont know what im doing wrong, but this is another discussion.), how to connect the digicam, how to view pictures, ediitng and other advanced stuff. Like I said she just knows the basic stuff. Im planning to give her her own USB though. Shes always asking me to transfer files, save files and other things that just clogs up my computer. I dont mind because we have a common computer and I ahve a laptop. The onyl thing about her computer usage that I dont like is that she doesnt organize files into folders. Whenever she creates new files its just in the my documents page and so if she asks me somehting Id have to open all of them to get the right one. I also use my personal USB to print her pictures in a studio. My USB is full enough already. Anyways, thats how much my Mom is computer literate. Im giving her a USB on Mothers day if I scrunch up enough funds. If I dont Ill just give it to her whenever. Better late than never right?^_^

no. she does not know. i was actually telling her to learn so i can teach her to do mylot. haha

Not at all. She even can't use a keyboard or type. She can operate TV, but that's it. She can't operate the dvd player, too. She has a cellphone but she only know how to make a phone call and send or receive text messages.

My mom can use a computer but if something goes wrong or she cant get on the internet she always calls me to fix it.
