Have local government cuts affected you in any way?

I live in south Florida and we,ve been having a problem with wild fires. The one burning along the banks of Lake Okeechobee isn't threatening anyone but a recent one in Palm Bay has destroyed 50 homes so far. A fire official said last night on the news that they don't have the manpower they need because of budget cuts. If several departments had been able to throw everything they have at this fire from the start these people might not have lost their homes. Anyone else feeling the affects of budget cuts to government services?

I think everyone is being ffected in one way shape or form, yes it is a shame these people had to lose theie homes. They say it will only get worst before it gets better.
