Where is my head today? Has this ever happened to you?

I had put the stopper in the bottom of the kitchen sink to wash dishes when the baby woke up from her nap. Instead of turning off the water I left it running to finish filling up the sink. Well, then I had to change the baby and wash my hands. Then I totally forgot that the sink was running. I went back in about 20 minutes later to an overflowing sink. Fortunately, the stopper was not in the other side of our double sink, so the water was going over there and draining away. Where is my head today? Has this ever happened to you?
