How you choose topics to respond usually?

I don't know you here through what way to choose topics to respond.I myself has admitted mylot to send me a mail demostrate all top discussions on that day.I click out one by one and respond them accordingly.It may be the big reason why I am not able to responsd as much as possible.
Besides,I look into my friends' files and respond their discussion in order to keep myself posted about them.
If you have any other good suggestions on reading as more discussion as you can ,please share it with us.

When I selected my interests, I only selected things that I was interested in, so I respond to a lot of the questions that I see posted. I wont' answer if I don't know the answer to what they are asking, or sometimes I just don't feel like divulging my personal life into an online forum, so I don't answer.
I try to respond honestly to all the questions that appeal to me. A lot of times the questions will remind me of something and I will post a question immediately following.

Good for you! There are many people that bring their personal lives in here and trash talk their friends and families. I am happy to see you are not one of them!

I am totally agree your all.It is true,mylot may be used as a place to have discussions originally.Since you have become members of mylot.It likes a home ,where you could write anything legal here,I mean legal enough. You may have some problems in deal with the relationships between your families,or you may feel helpless to life,etc,you can decribe all your feeling here.I don't think others readers can contribute lot,but you could get many good suggestions make you stronger than before to solve those problems.
So please don't call it trash talk,everyone here is equal,they have their own choice.

Well i login and check the today's top discussions as well as discussions started by my friends. These both are the first preference and then i will check my interests and if there are good discussion which i feel as good then i will for sure respond to them. I dint opt to get mails since my inbox will get flooded with the mails and i dont want to clean that every now and then. There are few days when i dont even login and its not a good idea to have all the mails in my inbox just to delete them at a later time.

I know most people allow mylot system send mails as soon as their discussions are replied or responses are commented.I didn't do it.My mail box is within our company.It is very easy to exceed its size if so many mails come to fill in.I am afraid I will be fired soon.

Well, I always read the home page first and then go through discussion from my interest and discussion started by friends. When ever I get interested in any discussion , I response to that ...
I don't do so many responses every day and I don't try to start discussion without any reason and only for response ....

It is good ! You must be rather strict with your discussion.I do hope our discussion should be meaningful not just to have as many response as possible.We are responsible for our discussions.

I go first to discussions my friends started and respond
to as many as I can then go to to days top discussions]
and respond to all that appeal to me, then to the todays
hot topics. then I check on discussions I have started
and on my best responses too. I also check on some of the
discussions with no responses. also if I have time I will
check on my unresolved discussions and try to pickout
the best responses .

Discussions with 0 response should not be neglected actually.They have no responses do not mean they are trash.The updating speed of mylot is so quick that some good discussions would not be dicovered.
I myelf do review such discussion now and then and give my replies too.
Everyone reply based on their interested topics.

The way we make responses is rather similar. I choose the top discussons too. I have no fixed interest.If i think I can say something about the discussions,I will go ahead to share my ideas.

I'll be honest - I'm picky. I could respond to every single discussion put up by my friends or others but I don't really have anything to share in some threads and it just doesn't feel right replying just for the sake of replying.
I do want my replies to matter and be personal to the person who put up the post as well as the people who read it. So I actually go for discussions by interest and then sort them out - if I find that I have something to contribute, I'll reply. If not, I'll just move on to the next one.

It is right for you to be picky on so many discussions.Impossibly you are able to reply all but you can choose part of them interested you to respond to,that is ,you think you have something to say about them.
I am glad most of us,respond to the new comers' discussion in order to give them direction how to do well in mylot.Thank you for you all.To be honest,I am also one of those beneficiaries when I first came to mylot.

I will choose my interesting discussion for respond first,those topic is more attactive for me, and I can give more cotribution!
Then I will read some discussion from my friends, that is alwasy good to talk with them and give some help for their questions or comments! normally their topics are also my interesting!
After that, i will look for some new users'discussion, they alwasy give me some fresh idea and nice topic, then I will give my suggestions to them also. Due to I am also an new user in mylot, that is good to talk with someone same like me! : )

Thank you for your good ideas. I got to know you make responses by reviewing interesting discussions attacted you firstly.Under this circumstances,I regard the topic mostly.A eye-catching headline would attact as much readers as possible to enter into your discussions and rate you accordingly.
Yes,as user number in mylotting is increasing day by day,new comers will bring new concept and fresh idea to us.It is also a good way to learn from each other.

I'm still kinda new. but I've been picking topics that I know about and like to talk about. Also, I try to encourage the people who are doing good things.
