Think You are strong.. you can Go miles....

Have you ever thought that if you think you are strong, you can do things that you never thought you can do? think yourself weak and you can never do little things. I started walking up 8 floors each day. it gives me breathing trouble. still I think a person who can climb Mt Everest who is limb, why can't I just climb 8 floors? Do you think this way?

hello friend,i am so glad to respond this discussion.it is indeed fact if we have a strong spirit in our mind to do some thing.thus, i think we can go more miles.so please believe in yourself.please be courageous to do something what you can't in other body's eyes. best wishes

i always think this way... if you think you can do things, you will but if you will think that you cannot do it, no matter how simple it may be, you definitely cannot do it... so even if you are ask to do little things, always think that you can do it. its a matter of positive thinking. smiles!

its just like "if you think you can, you can do it". nothing is impossible once you set your mind on it. most people who are optimistic thinks this way. i am optimistic but i seldom think this way. i easily give up on a hard task. i guess i'm just one lazy azz. but physical feats like that are attainable when you really set your mind on it. we can climb Mt. Everest subha. i'm sure of it. as long as we do all the training and preparations needed. i think we'll need a few years to prepare ourselves for that. but its not impossible. and if climbing Mt. Everest by regular persons like us is not impossible, then climbing 8 floors everyday is not impossible too. actually that could be a good physical exercise and preparation for mountain climbing. ^__^

I agree with you. Our mind power has powerful potential that we are not aware of. I have experienced many times that, with strong determination, we can complete or achieve what we initially think is impossible. Therefore, our courage and morale is the decisive factor in wining or losing. Recently I am reading a book named "The Secret". It describes about the rules of attraction. So, if we think we can do it, then we can do it, and vice versa.

I think life is already mapped out for us but we can makes some changes to it if we try hard enough. Alot of people need to stay strong in their beliefs and they will eventually reach some of their goals in life. It is such a struggle for some of us though. I think people who stop trying, are the weak ones.

Thats a very good state of mind, 8 floors is definetly not a joke, but i always think negative, beacuse in my life, some situations have turned me bitter n i just belive in expect the unexpected...so i never belive myself for some, but i do belive in myself for some reasons though

I think you are right.You never know yourself before you try it out.I just started learning skiing lately.I was very scared at first.I thought I wouldn't be able to get it right because I was so scared that I would fell off pretty badly.But you never know.Guess what.I finally made my choice that I can do it.It's not that bad as I thought before.Actually I picked up some skills at the first time.I did fell off,but it's not that hurt as I pictured before.
