Can you grow as a person if you are unwilling to admit you are small?

I think the going will be really slow until you do accept that you are small. Sometimes it takes a really dramatic wake up call for some people to really get moving down the path of enlightenment.

actually, the first step to personal growth is being able to admit that you have made a mistake. The second most important step is being able to learn from your mistake.

What do you mean by small? Small amongst people, small in the Universe? I think, that most important is to see themselves in real color. Some people pretend to be small so they could be seen bigger in eyes of others. In that way they pretend enlightenment.
