What prompted you to join Mylot?

In my case, it was the chance to get some feedback on my ponderings and opinions. What was your reason? I have found it to be addictive. In order to stay in touch I will have to limit my daily time here, or end up- as I have recently- staying away altogether for months (unintentionally) on end. Are you able to touch base and then go on about your day- or do you find hours slipping by while you interact with fascinating people?

I joined MyLot to interact with people in an un-threatening envrionment and to learn about those people in the process. I have also found it addictive - I spend hours on here every day. It's like you can be a part of hundreds of conversations every day and never have to leave the house! :) I find it relaxing and stimpulating.

On the way home from work tonight, i found my thoughts running to the site- wondering what responses would be waiting for me on this question. It makes me feel good that so many people feel as I do about it. nice hearing from you.

My daughter found this site then she sent me a link to join under her. I did but did not become active for a few weeks after signing up. Now I've been here over a year and love this site and am on a lot all day long. I am my fathers caregiver so I am home all day long, what better things to do then write and earn as I sit at the desk. I love doing myLot as I've made a lot of friends and this is my job basically as I am home all the time. I do not get out a lot due to dads health etc. HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB !!~

hi arcadian, I will admit honestly that right in the beginning my attraction towards mylot was only earning money, I was an active member of yahoo answers and then one day someone sent me a message that if I will write things that I wrote on yahoo answers in mylot I will be paid. So I joined mylot. But today things are different. I don't care what I earn or what I don't earn here because today I have more precious things than money and that is good friends and their sincere friendship which I enjoy a lot and which has made me addicted to this site. I really like this site. Thanks and have a nice day.

I heard it was a lot like yahoo answers. I love to post funny stuff and help other if I can as well as ask for advise from others. Some people I find are VERY rude and self-centered and that's a shame but the good and honest out weight them. I'm glad I was told about myLot. I'm on it everyday.

Actually I haven't had a bad experience here, except having things I write cut and pasted into someone else's posting which I found irritating- especially when my version got no response and theirs got many. (hmmm)

At first, I joined because I heard somewhere that I can get paid just by posting my opinions and blogs..But after a day or so, I got hooked in responding that I didn't notice my earnings and that I have referrals already.. I enjoy doing this..I need to practice my typing skills and my English..I haven't gone to a real work since 2000, so, I need to somehow check if Im still good at it..Well, just a little more polishing...

I'm back after about 6 or 7 months absence, and I stumbled over discussions about the stars- I don't get it, one way or the other. But it seems a little like someone flipping you off in traffic- no harm really but annoying- when your number falls, I think- just ignore it. you know this has to be the bbest of its kind- look at the size of it!!

I joined Mylot because I really like posting on message boards, and the money aspect of it really was the icing on the cake. Now I can get paid for spending time online. What's better than that?

My partner actually prompted me to join mylot. She thought I'd enjoy the topis and in the end help her make a few more cents. lol I'm pretty good with getting off here though and talking to live people.

That's good for you. I actually joined because i needed a temporary source of income. However, I haven't been earning a lot lately I think I should just go out and get a job. The good side is that I've learned about some interesting things through some posts. Since school's out and I'm not employed, I check in everyday which is great. Nevertheless, I'm looking into avenues for earning money because myLot doesn't pay that well.

Actually I was just blog Hopping, because that is my hobby until i see someones blog having an entry regarding MyLot. I enter the site and i found out that this is compose of a big community and i think i could get a lot of reactions from the member and i could respond to their discussions. I just love reading ideas and perspective of different people all over the world. Aside from that Im earning as well. Hitting two birds at a single shot. http://gino-memoirofaschizo.blogspot.com/ http://petitmal86.blogspot.com/
