itunes- WHOOPS!!

I downloaded a bunch of songs today- most for my 14 yr old. We are selective about what she can listen to...and she is real good about finding clean versions for songs she likes (some of the songs are so good...how come they have to throw in a nasty word or phrase to ruin it)?? Anyway, I downloaded the "clean" versions of a few songs and one of them, even though it was labeled "clean" it was the other version. Whoops! I've submitted a 'report a problem' ticket to itunes- and I am confident they'll work it out for me, but just wanted to send out a note if you download "clean" versions make sure you double check after they're downloaded! I suppose it goes both ways...someone could download an explicit version and get clean...lol. Has this happened to anyone else? Or maybe you downloaded a song that turned out to be a completely different song entirely?

Most of the songs that I download from Itunes doesn't have any bad words. But there are a few that have it and I just download the original one. It's good that you submitted a ticket for that because they need to check up on what they are doing. You wasted that money and it wasn't the song that you wanted. Hopefully they will refund you your money or give you the other song or something. Good luck with this.

Thanks for your response. I was a little disappointed in their response to the issue because they said it may or may not get fixed and to check in a few weeks...but how will I know it's really the clean version...? My 14 yr old listening to it is one thing, but I have two 7 yr olds who listen to her music sometimes, too. BUT, itunes did give a credit for one song, so that's cool. Thanks again. :)

Well then that is good that they gave you a credit. By the way who is the artist? I'm happy 'cause I had some extra cash today and I was able to buy two songs from Elvis Presley and one from Jesse McCartney
