Ok this kinda spawned from another discussion I had (or two) so I figured I would just make one big discussion and put it all out there. I have had a bit of a problem with getting 10 responses on MANY of my discussions and have decided to ask for a bit of help from friends and anyone else who cares to help lol. So here goes, if you feel you 'want' to help me out I would greatly appreciate it. I am not saying anyone has to or anything like that. Just putting it out there for the fact that I have many new friends that may not know I am having this issue. Have you ever had this issue yourself? When you first joined did you have to find other ways? Anyone care to share their 'tricks of the trade'? lol Thanks in advance for anyone who helps me out...to see old/newish discussions just go to my profile and either look on the page for most recent or click "Discussions I have started" for them all. There are several that are just BARELY under the 10 needed so I can get paid for them unfortunatly. Any and all help is greatly appreciated. ~*~J_Dawgs~*~

It has already been said but the best way to encourage new discussions is to write something of suitable length and appeal that will catch the eye. I often find that a discussion that I think is going to go places doesn't, and one that I feel won't get off the ground goes wild. I post quite a few discussions because I find that there are way too many that are just no worth the effort as I don't find them interesting. I have no interest in money making sites usually, so rarely bother with them. I am not here for the money but the friends that I have made here. That said, I don't decline the money on payday either. LOL. Same think applies to replies to discussions. Try to make them worth the discussion poster's while to read. One word answers rarely cut the mustard, and I don't believe will get you paid either. Most of all though, enjoy yourself. This is a great place despite all he carping and moaning. That's why we are still here.

Always willing to help out those willing to help me out. Heck I wouldn't expect anyone to think any different of me (I hope lol). ~*~J_Dawgs~*~

Posting good quality discussions and having friends, that generally helps to get responses. It takes a bit of time to build up a friends list hun, but it will help you in the long run.

First, let me say...I love the bumper sticker...that is too cute LOL Now onto the discussion. My suggestion is to start getting into some discussions and let ppl get to know you. Once ppl get to know you...they'll be looking for your discusssions, your responses and you can build up your friends list. There are alot of ppl who know me on here...not just b/c they are on my friends list but b/c they see my responses all over and they see my discussions that I start. Two of the best tips I can give you for MyLot is be honest and straight foreward in your responses and discussions. If you agree with them, say so. If you don't, say so. But remember that as much as you want to be able to voice your opinion so do they. In legal cases there is a saying always temper justice with mercy. In this case it's always temper opinions with tolerance. The other tip is don't worry too much about the money. It's fun to earn and we all enjoy seeing our earnings grow but don't let it be the be all, end all reason your here. You won't get rich off MyLot...no one will...but you can make a little pocket change and you can have fun doing it. As for the required 10 responses, that is what I was informed of by the member that recruited me and he has been here for about a year and half, maybe more. As more ppl get to know you, more ppl will come to your discussions to respond. Keep up the good work!! **AT PEACE WITHIN** ~~STAND STRONG IN YOUR BELIEFS~~

ive had lots of discussions with under 10 responses and still got paid for them.. so i dunno what yer meaning by that bit. if what yer looking for is more money and dont really care about the content of intelligence of yer discussions.. you can always do what many do, and start something horribly controversial and work people into a froth over it. me personally.. i just start discussions when i have something on my mind and am lookng for input, or ive got something to share. ive met some really decent people around here.. the money is just a perk, and that isnt going too badly either
