Dreamcatchers, have you seen them, do you own one, do they work?

My DreamCatcher - This is my dream catcher, and though it may be a little hard to make out detail cause its so dark, it has an Indian medicine man in the center.

I have one that hangs over my bed, it has an Indian medicine man on it. I am not sure if they work or not, but I can't remember the last time that I had a nightmare. So how about you, do you have one, do you think that they work?

From my understanding, it came from the Native Americans, it is a wall hanging which is supposed to keep you from having nightmares.

Well, the good thing is that even if they don't work, they make good conversation pieces.

I have heard of dreamcatchers, but do not actually know that much about them. I do not own one, but if they get rid of nightmares then maybe it is something that I could do with, as I do tend to have nightmares quite regularly!!

I have one, but I cannot say that it works or not. I haven't had any nightmares in I don't know how long though.

I love dreamcatchers. I have had several of them. Never hung them in my bedroom but love to collect them.

Yes I have a big dream catcher w/ a wolfs face on it. I have it in my liveingeoom on the wall it cool looking. I also have a small one in the bedroom that is on the wall next to my bed. I honestly couldn't tell ya if they work for I don't get nightmares and if I am moveing in my sleep my cat will wake me up to the point the dream is gone and I can't remember what I was dreaming about and I will fall back asleep.

I truly believe that they work. I don't know if they work because of that belief or simply because that is the magic in them but in the end it doesn't really matter why they work just that they do! And the Native American scenes are also my favorite.

I have a couple hanging over my bed, but usually when i have a nighmare it is because of pain so......... We did get one for our youngest son when he was small because he had nightmares about snakes everynight. We explained what it was and his nightmares actually did decrease.

I wonder though, was it the dreamcatcher or his belief in them that caused it to work?
