DeathNote is coming to US theaters next week! It is showing in many, many theaters all over the country in just two days, May 20-21. I am pretty sure that Manga fans will flock to the theaters these two days. So far, it is yet unrated, but producers say that it is supposed to be treated as a Rated "R" movie. It is produced by NCM Fathom and Viz Pictures. This once-in-a-lifetime movie event will include a 20-minute feature about this very popular manga. Its hit theme song “Dani California” sang by the Red Hot Chili Peppers will also be included. Would you watch it?

I haven't heard of this, although I do sometimes like to watch Japanese anime (especially the output of Studio Ghibli). What's it about?

Hello, Spoiled311! I have heard about this DeathNote many times. Here in Brazil, it isn't so popular, because the Television is not displaying it. Those who want to watch it must either buy the manga or download the episodes online, IF there are episodes. I haven't watched it yet, but people are saying that it's pretty good. If it comes out to the theaters here in my city, I'll give it a try. Who knows if I will like it? And putting a Red Hot Chilli Peppers sound on it must make it even better than it already is. Yes, if it comes out here, I'll give it a try, but I doubt that it will be displayed here. Respectfully, Munhozmib.
