OMG - Season Finale!

Stop reading if you don't want to know what happened... The thing that has floored me the most about the season ender is Susan with another guy. Totally bizarre. What happened to Mike? I wonder how much longer the show will be on, and if the storylines will start feeding into these outcomes? I thought the Dylan thing was really weird. I was wondering how the babies got switched. Then when she put the doll on top of the armoire I guessed some of what was coming. That was awful. No wonder Katherine is so twisted, she's been holding onto a lot of secrets. I had thought about when they first came on the show not too long ago and Julie knew that Dylan was not the same girl. I had kind of forgotten about that, as I'm sure a lot of other viewers did too, and then when Wayne did the DNA test I figured there had been some kind of switch. What a weird story... The Bree thing was good, although when I saw in an article that the hair flip was going away, I did not anticipate the slicked back hair thing. Not very becoming to her, although Andrew looked nice in his suit. Gaby having children was weird. Wasn't she not able to have kids? Also, it's strange karma that her little girl was chubby and not really beautiful. And, weird to see her not groomed to perfection. It was almost like she changed places with Lynette from the beginning of the show. And, the police at the Scavo house, I just knew would have something to do with Kayla. Strange times. But enough of my opinions. What did you guys think of this season finale????

I was floored by the ending. I fear an ending is coming up. They have had a great run and kept us hopping, but I guess with so many seasons under their belt, there isn't much left to write about. It has already been written! The different guy with Susan also is a cliffhanger. My first words were, "What happened to Mike?" And I was also thinking about her being stuck with Maynard and no Mike. Gabby with kids was a hard thing to adjust to. I will bet they will get a new surrogate, but my question is how are they going to support the kids and still afford Vera Wang dresses? Even if they got to keep the money from Elise's stash, its not enough to live on for 5 years. Not with Gabby's habits. Katherine's story line was kind of predictable when last week Wayne said that he thought Dylan wasn't the same girl because of the scar. I put the grave in the woods and that together then. This show definately has me on the edge of my seat! Oh well, just like Six Feet Under, they all got to move on sometime. Expand their careers and take time off for the family. Its just sad when they do.

Maynard and no Mike, hee hee. I wonder if she'll try to change his name again if Mike's out of the picture for some reason! Thanks for responding!

Sounds very interesting... i love Desperate Housewives... but i don't get to watch it anymore... i live in a different country... and i don't think we are updated with the very recent episodes... so i just visit the website to read the recaps... It is not the same... but i still get to follow the story of each lady of Wisteria Lane... I also read that there will still be 2 or 3 season for this series... which is great... since we all have something to look forward to...

You can watch the episodes online. I know sometimes other countries block USA shows, but have you tried that? I usually watch online if I miss an episode. Hope that works for you!

I have to say the biggest surprise was seeing Susan with the other guy! Shocking!! I'm wondering if it is just a teaser to make us all think that? I figured Bree would take Orson back. You could tell she still cares for him. No big surprise with that one at all. I'm glad Kayla is gone. She was a bad, bad little girl and it appears that she rubbed off the wrong way on the boys. Great ending for this year!

well i'm glad to hear that it was just the season finale and not series finale. the way it ended i thought maybe the show was done. that was so crazy that she wasn't with mike. i wonder what will happen with that. i never forgot about julie thinking it wasn't dylan. it was driving me crazy waiting to find out if she really was or not lol. yea i thought it was kind of something that gabbys kids weren't really cute. but kind of nice to see another side of gabby. that is so funny that all of lynette's kids are getting into trouble. i was glad to see the way the kayla thing worked out. i couldn't imagine being in that situation. i wonder why they showed us this glimpse into 5 years from now. i guess all good shows have to come to an end sometime. i'd assume that they will start working the story lines to fit into that ending.

It really felt like a series finale, didn't it? I had heard that there would be a flash forward, and as the time ticked away, I kept thinking about it, wondering how much time would be devoted to it. I'm really interested to see what happens next season! Thanks for responding!

I thought it was very weird that they didn't show Edie at all in the show. What's up with that? I was floored that Susan wasn't with Mike too:( I wanted to see them together at the end. Gabby looked a little chunky at the end too. I thought at first that they had made her pregnant until they showed the kids:) That was too funny. I was happy that Bree was back with Orson. Andrew did look sharp. Not surprising that the police were at the Scavos house~ I am wondering if the show is even coming back next year. If it does, will they start if 5 yrs from now, so the characters will be like they showed at the end?

Kayla can get into a lot more trouble as a teenager, no doubt. I really wasn't sure if next season would pick up at the 5 years later mark, or go back to "present" time and have some more flash forwards. Maybe it'll start 5 years later and show flashbacks? Edie didn't show up because she was run out of town last week, but I read that we'll see her in some flash backs or flash forwards next year. I'm glad it will be back and I'm intrigued to see what will happen next.

It certainly will have a different spin then won't it. With Gabby a mom, Susan and a new guy, all the little ones grown up. I am happy that it is coming back. Yes, Kayla coming back as a teenager will be good. She was an evil little girl.

OH YEAH!! I am a BIG Desperate Housewives fan and so are my daughters. We were also wondering what happened to Mike and who that new HANDSOME hubby of Susan's really is. And all those other questions.... Would you please give me a heads up if you know when Season 4 will be out on DVD? Thanks. Can't wait for new Season!!

You can actually see all of the episodes online. Some sites have all of them online and ABC has a couple of them online.

Marcia Cross (Bree) was on Ellen the week before the season finale. My understanding from what she said in regards to the 5-year thing was that they are actually just going to pick up from five years later. Anything that happened between I would guess would have to be done in flashback form. Ellen asked her if they were really going to skip five years and she said yes. It frustrates me for them to do that, but I guess they had a reason for it. Susan with the other guy was the biggest OMG moment for me.

Desperate Housewives Creator, Marc Cherry has a deal until May 2011. ABC has already signed contracts with the main stars, so there will be a future show. Marc stated he wanted the show to go in a different direction and it certainly is going to happen.

The part with Susan and the strange guy at the end really puzzled me. It was all quite weird, let's face it, Gaby with chubby kids, Susan with a new man. Bree now a business woman, Lynette's kids now jailbirds. Maybe they'll pull a "Dallas dream segment". Annie

Oh, you guys are driving me crazy...I recorded the last 4 episodes 'cause my husband was busy. Then, about a week ago, I was making room on the dvr and deleted EVERYTHING!! Not only was my son upset because he lost all of his Pokemon movies, but I was near tears about my shows that I haven't seen yet.LOL I gues some of my computer time will have to be devoted to catching up on Desperate Housewives. Oh well, I guess the laundry can wait:)
