Why do celebrities drive black SUV's?

Why do celebrities all seem to drive black SUV's? I wonder this all the time. it seems that if you're a celebrity, bang! You must purchase a black SUV. Why is this? At first I thought "oh yeah, a black car, anonymity, nothing flash and exciting like a topless Porsche". But honestly, if I went to Hollywood and I saw a black SUV driving around I'd be thinking "Wow! I wonder who's driving that?!"Anyone have any ideas?

i honestly can only think it is because they want to hide behind all that tinted glass.maybe it is a trend.or maybe they to not want fans to jump all over their expensive cars and ruin the paint work.lol.cheers sue

Perhaps a part of them would like to have a normal life. After all, pretty much everywhere they go, they have to hide in some form or get mobbed.

Who knows really. I think they like to drive black vehicles because they can tint the windows also to be in disguise from the media. I bet they all drive the same kind also so it leaves you guessing who is actually driving it or being hauled around in it. I bet they do it to try to escape from being followed or harrassed by the media.

Hi coffeeshot! Even here in our country, celebrities hide in those black SUV's with dark tinted glass. I do wonder the same thing when I see a black SUV pass by. I will always wonder who is inside, is it a celebrity or a politician. I think they just love to be mysterious. Take Care and God Bless! Happy Mylotting!
