Do you like watching television while having your meal?

do you watch tv when you having your meal.... i do in habit watching tv when i am taking my dinner ....
my parents always says that dont watch tv while eating ....
but i cant able to take my dinner without watching tv
is this is bad habit?
do you have same habit?

I do usually have the tv on when I'm eating. I think it is a bad habit though because i think you eat more when yuou are distracted and not paying attention to your food,plus if you are eating with somebody it's not really polite.

well if you see as professional way yeah you are right but if you are at home alone or just family members than i think you dont have to show the society manners ...

I like to eat my diner at the table with my husband and children as its a good time to talk about hte day and waht people have been up to at school or work.
At weekends for a treat the children are allowed to have one meal in front of the televiosn.
If I am on my own I stil like to sit at the table and eat my meal.
Saturday niights hubby and i may eat our evening meal in front of the telly, it depends on what we are eating.
If you are happy eating in front of the telly then it is not a bad habit, just the way tyou choose to eat your meals

well anne i just eat my dinner in front of tv
and why the children not allowed in weak days having their meal in front of tv ... whats bad in it.

Actually, I have the same habit as you.
My boyfriend and I always have our dinner when watching TV.
And we also discuss about the programs that we are watching.
Although my parents told me that we should not chat and watch TV when having dinner, I like to do it.
