When I was on bed for 3 1/2 months with a fractured knee, my husband looked after me completely. He was there for me when I needed him most, being a tower of strength for me when I would lose hope or cry in pain. He was with me all the way, in hospital and at home. I know of couples who are happy with each other till the going is good only. This has made me realise what a gem of a guy I have got and we have been married 21 years ! My son too was very loving and looked after me in the absence of his dad, would give me my meals and whatever I needed. I have much to thank God for.

Wow, thats nice. :D Its rare to find a patient and understanding husband nowadays. I hope my husband and my son will take care of me like that someday.

That is great. It is hard to find a good man like that these days for sure. That is what a good marriage is all about. They are to be there in sickness and health and for richer and poorer. they are to be there for you in good times and the bad ones also but alot of people run when it gets rough for them. My husband and I have been together for 16 years now and married for 13 of them. We are still happy with one another and we have our ups and downs too. We stay together and work through everything though.
