Make yourself busy, very busy. Busy with work, busy with family matters, busy with friends, busy with church activities.... Plan for weekend, plan for holidays, have something to look forward. There are sure moment that you miss her, remind yourself, it is the PAST.

Actually, the most successful way of doing it, that I've had, was to keep busy. If you have time in the afternoon, join a club or take a class. If you have free time on the weekend, clean your house. Make sure you have flexibility when friends call to occupy your time, but make sure there is something for you to do. Not only will you find yourself too busy to constantly cry (you will still be sad in your downtime, but if you had to chose between moving forward and standing still, you'd have a better chance not focusing. Someone told me, you cna either wait, or do it, but a year from now, you will still have to do it, so why not now?)

The best s, just associate her with the worst of her deds and you will keep her off your mind because you will be better off without her in your head!

i didnt do anything, just continue the things i use to do while being so miserable, deal with it daily but not dealing with it, i didnt even realize it that i was slowly forgeting her til i was out of the pain zone, i just realize one day that i wasnt hurting anymore, and was glad, didnt do anything special celebration or whatever, i was just shrugged my shoulders said ok, then move on
