People are having it hard these days with money and the high gas prices. Have you always been considered tight with you money though?

Nope, not really. I mean, I do save and I don't like to spend excessively (who does?) but I can be generous and also splurge on stuff I love when needed. I think that having a good balance between the two extremes is the most important thing when it comes to this!

i would have to agree with you somewhat but my balance would be more on the saving side rather then the spending side. i guess it would be like a 65/35 percent in favor of saving.

No, I don't consider myself to be a tightwad. I was always aware of how much money I spent. Now, with the price of "living" going up every week and my salary not going up for more than 18 months, I'm very aware of where my money is going.

I'm a tightwad and not afraid to yell it from the rooftops - OK, that was a little over the edge, but I was just trying to make my point - I'm not ashamed of being a tightwad. I've always been in debt, so I try to make sure I don't spend it unless I have to, it's just one of those things. I make it a game, to see how much money I can save, and I always enjoy winning!!!

Thats good to hear. People should not feel bad about saving money compared to others who are careless.
