The most memorable performance in the auditions for me was the one by Markus Shields, who wore a tshirt with the face of his late mother. He danced it with such sadness and it touched something in me. And the song that he danced it to by Elliot Yamin was perfect for his choreography. I was so surprised and sad that he didn't make it into the top 20. He would've been interesting to follow.

That is weird that he didn't make it. I thought he was pretty good. I agree, it would have been a good story to follow. Did it show him in the choreography round? Maybe he couldn't keep up there.

You know, they didn't show him too much during the choreography week. However, I did notice that he made it all the way to the end, where they were choosing the top 20, so he must've been pretty good to even make it that far. I'm amazed that they didn't follow up on his story even more throughout the choreography week. Hopefully, we'll see him again next season.

Thanks for the BR! I was so excited to receive notification of it. Have you been watching SYTYCD lately? I've been watching every single episode - even the boot-off nights, which I never used to do. I'm sure I'll catch you on other threads about the show.

You gotta love S3X. I can't figure out what goes through his mind when he auditions. I personally think last seasons audition was better than this year. He is pure entertainment.

I'm not sure but if you type in David Soller in youtube you will see a video of him. His stage name is S*X.

Yeah, I think that's the one. I'm not sure whether to feel sorry for him or just laugh. I think that's what he's after anyway. LOL. I'm kinda grossed out.

That guy who was in the bandit costume was pretty weird. and the really athletic guy the asian person who did not get in was very good. I'm not sure why he did't get in. I think maybe his routine was not favored by the judges.
