Do You Play Video Games To Have Fun or To Win?

well thats a nice question makes me think..i always thought that i played just for fun. but its only now that i realise that i play to win!! yeah lol. but actually thse been created to have fun, enjoy, past time for some, n not strictly for winning..

...! What the...!? Did I just get summoned here!? Ah well, anyways, I actually play for fun despite the codename. More than a decade ago, I chose it due to not just being a good player but being one to attract crowds... plus I helped others with gaming. I do look at the pro events and some of the events on G4 but only so often. Its nice seeing the industry develop like this. I wonder what would have happened if this were happening several years earlier...

When I play a video game,I play for fun and I also play to win,because I love to play video games,and it is always fun to play video games,but you also get a real good feeling,and a sort of self pride,when you beat a video game,especially if it is a hard video game,that takes you a while to beat.

i really have not experienced to play video games. but i see many kids playing it. if i would be given a chance to play, i will consider both. to have fun and to win. they say if you win they will credit you cash, but i'm not aware of it. anyway, having fun is what i am at and winning is my ultimate goal. thanks and happy posting!! :)

Fun and win.The good things to gain for a game is enhancing your mind,think about playing a car race,kids this days can easily learn driving because they have an idea already using video games.

The Fun is now the most important part for me. Nevertheless no one likes to lose and that may just be the best part about online games. Specially RPG's. You can start, take it slowly as you have time (sure there will be a lot of players stronger/better than you) but along the time you get better and eventually have more and more fun. MMORPG's are great because they have a lot of different things you can do within them. Skills, quests, chat, make friends and what ever you can think of. And it is also a great way to know people around the world with similar interests. You will always have a chat subject to talk about
